Jay-Z continues to inspire the urban music landscape. Got an email from this kid Articulate out of B-More who seems to be a jack of all trades (at least according to his site). He meshes a "DOA" sample, Max B vocals and that anxious B-More club tempo to create an infectious hip hop song called "The Illest Out."
The great thing about Mike TV & RFM is that we're open to all forms of hotness. We posted "The Illest Out" in lieu of a new Fiasco song, not because we're addicted to going left but because recycling doesn't sustain the hip hop environment. We feel about a lot of blogs the way Artic feels about some rappers...get original!
